The Ice Crystals of Autumn: Yellowstone National Park and Pine Creek Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness

This week, I made my annual trip up a couple different creeks to photograph the late autumn ice crystals that form right before the snow comes and covers them up for the season. I really like the gentle gleam and soft forms that cling onto plants, logs and rocks along the streams. I think you might like them too. Enjoy!

Pine Creek Waterfall and the Bridger Mountains in Black and White

   Hi everyone.
This week I am going back to the black and white large format photography. I made a visit to a local hike in the Absoraka Beartooth Wilderness. It is the Pine Creek trail with some nice shots of the waterfall. You will notice the ice forming (already) on the logs and rocks and yes winter is just around the corner for us in the mountains of Montana. I also made a drive over to a nice view of the Bridger mountain range right in between Bozeman and Livingston, Montana... I hope you like my work.
